No CommentsSince the start of the year, around 850 new learners register monthly on the COLEAD e-learning platform (mainly via FFM+ programme). This vocational training platform (training.colead.link) is one of the online resources developed by COLEAD. To date, close to 20,000 users are registered on the platform, out of which 72.6% are based in member countries of the OACPS. Additionally, 75 of the 78 ACP countries are represented. BIOFACH 2022: How the training on “Preparing and attending a trade fair” has helped companies to get ready for the fair

BIOFACH has been very fruitful for ACP horticultural companies. Directors and commercial managers were provided with a 2-week-long training programme to be ready to attend the fair. From February to May 2022, 10 experts from Fiji and Papua New Guinea took part in training-of-trainers on communication methods, supported through the EU-funded Fit For Market SPS programme. The training in Fiji was face-to-face; in Papua New Guinea it had to be conducted remotely due to government restrictions. The Caribbean Agricultural Health and Food Safety Agency (CAHFSA) has agreed a customised action plan for the implementation of Fit For Market SPS programme support. Training for Kenyan experts in Digital Learning Tools

In March and April, 13 Kenyan experts have been taking part in training on Digital Learning Tools, provided through the NExT Kenya programe. In January a training course on good agricultural practices was organised through the Fit For Market SPS programme for 14 small agri-food entrepreneurs and producers in Ghana who are part of The Food Bridge’s network. Training in digital learning for our Pacific experts

In early February, the Fit For Market SPS programme held its first training of trainers on “Training and Communication Skills” for the Pacific.
