In February, 19 staff of Kenyan avocado exporters took part in training on commercial fruit quality management, with a focus on good harvest and post-harvest practices. The EU has introduced new legislation to amend plant health rules covering False Codling Moth (FCM, Thaumatotibia leucotreta). The new draft regulation has been submitted to the WTO for a feedback period, period until the 11th April 2022. The date of implementation is not yet known.
